Arduino regulated control valves

I will be joining/will have joined Martin at the hackerspace's Arduino 101 to get the low down on the basics. My goal is to use what I learn to program the board to operate a control valve based on a dynamic digital input (desired height), barometric readings, altimeter readings, and ambient temperature readings.

The end goal is a system that opens a filling or releasing valve to regulate buoyancy produced by contained hydrogen gas.

Faraday caged hydrogen balloon

TODO: Fill in more details
Summary: Figure out a light-weight method of lift producing hydrogen storage that repels electrical energy to prevent combustion

Metal hydride ballast

TODO: Fill in more details
Summary: Combine a metal hydride storage container, a low pressure release valve, a loading method (undetermined), the Arduino regulator and a hydrogen balloon.

Non conductive material electrical charge collector

TODO: Fill in more details
Summary: A method of collecting electrical charge from non-conductive material for storage in a battery or safe release.

Piezoelectrochemical hydrogen collector

TODO: more
