How much does it cost to be a member?

Stakeholders

  • $75/mo
  • 24/7 Access to the space
  • Responsible member with a stake in the space
  • Responsible for opening up and locking up the space to visitors
  • Responsible for on-site locked storage
  • 4U of rack space for your own servers, or one mid-tower sized PC
  • Schedule, teach classes
  • Schedule, host and organize events
  • Host large tools/machines at the space
  • Free locked storage on-site
  • +++ the rest

Associate Members

  • $40/mo - $25/mo sliding scale : pay what you can afford, support the hackerspace
  • 24/7 Key (or keycard) access to lounge, workshops, and class space
  • @atxhackerspace.com email account + local virtual host on one of our servers
  • Free shelf space, and access to locked storage space on a first-come basis (lockers)
  • Access to tools that a safety class has been taken for (SBU)
  • Access to the general stock of materials and resources at a discount ( Adafruit, etc.. )
  • Use of metered/cost tools at a discount ( e.g. laser cutter, makerbot )
  • Voting rights at the annual, quarterly, special, and emergency member meetings
  • Eligible to become the Member-at-Large on the board of directors

Visitors

  • FREE!
  • Access to Internet, Lounge, Classroom during Open Hours ( Stakeholder present )
  • Code, hang out, work on projects and meet other creative hackers
  • Access to Events (full cost)
