===== What is it? =====

The **semi-monthly hackathon event** that combines and **not-so-serious productivity** with a **fun and exciting party atmosphere**.
 
**Austin DevHouse** is a non-exclusive event **intended for creative and curious people** interested in technology. We're about knowledge sharing, technology exploration, and ad-hoc collaboration. Come to have fun, build things, learn things, and meet new people. It's called **hacker culture**, and we're here to encourage it.

  * When  : Tentatively March 14, noon to midnight (the upcoming page link implies that it might be the 13th and the 14th in the announcement; and then in the hackerspace blurb in the upcoming page, it says the 15th? This is a tad confusing. Should we just assume the 14th?)

===== Who is going to be here and why? =====

[[people:Martin_Bogomolni|Martin Bogomolni]] - Your localhost, and event organizer.  Will be giving a [[austin-dev-house:lightningtalks|Lightning Talk]] about arduino development.

Ryan Kabir - Dev on the Causes team from Berkeley, CA. Might bring the rest of the team!

Stephen Cagle - I will bring some chips and dips. I have two interest, I would like to build a Reprap with other people, and if anyone out there knows how to, I would like to install emacspeak on my mac.

Christian Miller - Will be working on my fully-controllable LED hula hoop. May also give a lightning talk on EL wire.
